About Justine Blaber - Founder of Yarrow Yoga
Prior to teaching Pilates and Yoga, Justine worked as Cabin Crew. She quickly realised her love of fitness helped most during stressful points in life.
Justine decided to obtain extra knowledge by enrolling and training with 'Lifetime' focusing on Exercise to Music, Studio Cycling, Anatomy and Physiology. Afterwards, progressing onto the Future Fits Pilates Institute for the Pilates MA Training course.
By developing as a Pilates teacher, she realised that Yoga would complement this discipline which is why she now teaches both.
COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES TO YARROW YOGA
SUSPENSION TRAINING & REHABILITATION
Suspension training is a system that uses gravity and your own body weight to build strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, core, bone density and joint stability.
Rehabilitation training is to identify the route causes of pain and movement faults not merely treating the symptoms. The aim is to fully understand the problem and the factors contributing to it and then address the cause.
This is achieved by using studio equipment, a specific exercise programme and manual therapy skills.
Justine aims to give clients the tools to manage the problem in the long term.
PILATES IN PREGNANCY
It is important to exercise during pregnancy, however exercise needs to be modified and it is important to know your limits; focusing on your posture, gentle stretching, toning and relaxing rather than aiming to get fit through rigorous exercise.
